Tropikale Smoothie Bowl

I’ve been feeling low energy lately. I’m assuming that this is due to gloomy weather and the fact that I’ve been working non-stop lately. As a pick me up, I’ve been turning to this delicious tropical smoothie bowl full of vitamins and nutrients! Continue reading “Tropikale Smoothie Bowl”

I NEED SOME SUN: A Playlist

After what felt like an eternity of rain and cloudy skies, the sun is finally starting to make a comeback. I could not be any happier about this! To summon more of those sunshine vibes, I’ve curated a playlist of “sun” related songs. Consider this as an offering to the weather gods so that we may all be blessed with sunshine and clear skies. Enjoy xx

April Favourites: A Playlist

April was such an amazing month for new releases! There were so many albums that I was anticipating in April, and all of them were worth the wait. From the new Father John Misty to the new Kendrick Lamar, my ears have been over the moon with new tunes to listen to. I was even pleasantly surprised by the Harry Styles single that dropped (I’m really digging the song’s vibe. Very unexpected!). Also, can we talk about the new Alt-J singles?! I cannot wait till Relaxer comes out. It’s gonna be such a great album judging from 3WW and In Cold Blood (I can’t stop listening to both these songs). In addition to a handful of new tunes, I’ve had a bunch of older favourites on repeat as well. I’ve even got some Mozart in there from when I was cramming for exams. Enjoy the vibes xx

Organic / Natural Skin Care Favourites

As part of my new years resolutions for 2017, I vowed to take better care of my skin. I’ve always suffered from severe acne and acne scars, which traumatized me throughout my high school career. When I finally outgrew the acne, I stopped being so particular about the products that went on my face. This went on for a couple of years, and then it caught up with me. Fun pants for a guaranteed fun day

After what felt like the longest school year ever, classes are finally done! This means that I can freely spend my weekdays galavanting and enjoying everything that Toronto has to offer. This also means that I can stop dressing like I only own one hoodie and one pair of pants. Continue reading “Fun pants for a guaranteed fun day”

That 70’s Style

The late 60s and the entirety of the 70s are probably my favourite years for fashion inspiration. I absolutely love all the trends that came out of these decades – lace up details, fur coats, knee highs, big sleeves, bell bottoms, jumpsuits, floppy hats. Literally everything! February Favourites: A Playlist

I’m the type of person who becomes obsessed with one song, and listens to it over and over again. February was a month that had plenty of songs that I obsessively played on repeat. I’ve taken the liberty of compiling all these songs into one playlist, mostly for my benefit, but also in case any of you were interested in knowing what constantly played on my speakers. It’s such a mish mash of genres, and there’s no rhyme or reason as to why I had these stuck in my head all month long.

Realizations: Keeping Up Good Vibes

“Like, I feel like every year has a new energy, and I feel like this year is really about, like, the year of just realizing stuff. And everyone around me, we’re all just, like, realizing things.” – Kylie Jenner, 2016

I’m a year late to the realization party, but nonetheless, I’m realizing things in 2017. It must be the new energy, as Kylie Jenner so eloquently put it. Continue reading “Realizations: Keeping Up Good Vibes”
